Airports Council International is organising the 8th Asia-Pacific Small
Airport seminar from November 7- 10 in Hyderabad, with re-engineering of
airport economics being the focus theme.
This is the first seminar on small airports being held after formation of the Small Airports Network (SAN) by the council.
It will seek to address the common concerns and interests of small
airport operators, besides evaluating the needs, challenges, latest
developments and outlook of industry.
Issues such as economic expectations of stakeholders, cargo traffic,
non-aero innovations and attracting airlines to airports will be
elaborately discussed during the conference. The second ACI Asia-Pacific
SAN meeting will also be held during the event.
ACI Asia-Pacific, one of the five ACI regions, is based in Hong Kong and
represents the interest of 95 members who operate over 500 airports in
the Asia-Pacific Region, spanning West Asia, former CIS States, the
Indo-Pakistan subcontinent, Northeast and Southeast Asia, Oceania, the
Pacific Islands and Hawaii.
