Kareena honoured in British House of Commons
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was honoured at British House of Commons by Members of Parliament and Asian Sunday newspaper for her contribution to the global entertainment industry. N Keith Anthony S Vaz, MP and Chairman of Britain's Home Affairs Committee, has obliged the honours. Mr. Keith Vaz on behalf of the British Government has presented a framed golden coloured plaque to Kareena on October 29, 2013. Along with Kareena, Singer Kimberley Walsh and Magician Global Dynamo (Steven Frayne) also have received the honours by the Asian Sunday Dynamo paper. Born into the first Indian film family, “the Kapoor family”, Kareena married renowned actor Saif Ali khan, son of Cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Actress Sharmila Tagore.
