The Chief Minister Dr K. Rosaiah directed the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) to create a congenial atmosphere to attract more industries and investments to Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister today chaired the meeting of the SIPB at Secretariat. The Commissioner, Industries, Mr. Anantharamu apprised the Chief Minister and the SIPB about the Mega Projects' proposals received. The SIPB considered the case of 27 Industries with a total investment of Rs.18,137.88 crores and an employment potential of 59,732 and took positive decisions. This includes industries in Agro (Seed conditioning), Carbon black, Cement, Food Processing, Glass, Steel and Ferro Alloy, Mineral, Pharma, Textiles, Tyres, Photovotaic and Warehousing etc.
