National Youth Awards 2011-12 conferred

National Youth Awards 2011-12 were conferred by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee on 4th July to 27 individuals and an organization at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhawan. It is for the first time that the National Youth awards were given by the President. The youth award carries a Silver Medal, a Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 40,000 in cases of individual awardees and Rs. 2 lakh cash prize for voluntary organizations.
