James Blake wins Mercury Prize
Electronic artist James Blake won this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize. The twenty-five-year old is won the award for his second album “Overgrown”. The Mercury Prize, for the best British or Irish album of the year, is handed out at the Roundhouse in north London on October 31, 2013. Blake was the runner-up in BBC's “Sound of 2011 poll”. His eponymous debut album was released in the United Kingdom on February 7, 2011 for which he was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2011. He is also known as Harmonimix particularly when releasing remixes.
