Deepak Sandhu appointed as Chief Information Commissioner

Deepak Sandhu appointed as Chief Information Commissioner. She became the first woman to appoint as Chief Information Commissioner. She has taken the oath at Rastrapathi Bhavan. Key positions hold by her are in 2009 she acted as Director General for News All India Radio, Director General of DD news, Principal Director General in the press information Bureau for Media and Communication.
